HOW TO GET STRONG & LEAN, EVEN IF YOU’RE BUSY!
Is this a little too familiar?
I know, you’re busy…
How do I know? Because I also have a busy schedule, 2 kids, a business and a household to manage
BUT I still have been able to continually reach my fitness goals..
and YOU CAN TOO!
I find when life starts to get really hectic and I have to adjust. There are 3 non-negotiables that you NEED in order to balance and make progress on your goals.
Non-negotiable number one, is probably the hardest…
1.You need to choose you!
It’s time to say BUH-BYE to #mumguilt
You DESERVE time for you
But it will never happen if you don’t believe you’re worth it.
Your schedule is hectic, but if you want to reach your goals your schedule MUST include time for YOU
• Time to meal plan
• Time to meal prep
• Time to workout
If you don’t actively make the time, don’t be surprised that you don’t have the time.
Harsh? Hard to Hear? But maybe the truth bomb you needed to hear?
Absolutely!
2. Become a planning ninja
Choose to plan or plan to fail
There is no avoiding the necessity to plan, and it’s particularly essential when you’re busy
• Plan when you’re going to workout
• Plan what you’re going to be cooking
• Plan when you’ll be going to bed & waking up
Then talk to your spouse or support network about your plan and tell them how they can help you achieve it.
3. Get a plan that fits
Once you get planning make sure you are fitting your plan around your lifestyle, not the other round. It’s important to make this easier for yourself, not harder!
So a few tips; stop trying to make programs that involve 90 minute gym sessions 5 times per week work. You can get strong & lean on far less.
Find a program that includes short & sharp workouts that are predominantly strength based compound movements.
Find movement where you can like walking to work or taking your kids out on their bikes. If you can’t get to a gym, check out my insta post showing you how to do a full body workout with limited equipment you can do at home or at the park!
I know it’s tricky, but remember you are a priority AND I am always here to help. If you have any questions or struggling to come up with meal plans etc shoot me an email to kate@katelambertfitness.com, send me a DM or join my FREE Lifted Ladies Facebook group.
Remember…
YOU CAN DO THIS!
